At Office App, Axel seized the unique opportunity created by the pandemic to strategically refocus the scaleups direction. With hybrid work becoming the new norm, he realigned the company’s product offering to deliver tailored solutions for large corporate customers. This pivotal shift not only achieved product-market fit but also set the stage for unprecedented growth.


The strategic pivot sparked massive scaling challenges as the organization rapidly expanded to meet demand. Axel led efforts to scale multiple teams, rapidly hiring talent and building operational setups that could sustain the company’s accelerated growth. The team grew from 20 to 60 in just nine months, requiring a keen focus on maintaining efficiency and team cohesion during this period of intense change.


To support this scaling effort, Axel implemented a shift from a sales-led to a product-led approach, ensuring that the product itself became the primary driver of customer acquisition and retention. This transformation enhanced scalability, reduced costs, and positioned the company for long-term success.

After the acquisition, Axel spearheaded the integration process, ensuring that the company’s systems, teams, and culture seamlessly aligned with the acquiring organization.
